يشتكي أهالي قرية الجربة، التي تقع جنوب محافظة أبوعريش بمنطقة جازان جنوبي المملكة، من انعدام المياه المحلاة، وتكبد أهلها المعاناة جراء افتقادهم مياه الشرب. وبالرغم من محاولاتهم المتكررة في طرق أبواب المسؤولين والرفع بمعاناتهم إلا أنهم حتى اللحظة لم يجدوا من ينهي لهم تلك المعاناة مع الشركة الوطنية للمياه بجازان بإيصال المياه الصالحة للشرب إلى منازلهم.وفي جولة لـ«عكاظ» على القرية، رصدت اعتماد الأهالي على حفر الآبار وجلب الصهاريج التي وصل سعرها إلى 400 ريال للرد الواحد. وتساءل عدد من أهالي قرى جنوب أبوعريش منهم أحمد عبدالله السفياني وناصر الشبيلي ونايف مهدي وسامي مخدوم في حديثهم لـ«عكاظ»، عن المشاريع التي وعدوا بها منذ سنوات، وتساءلوا أيضاً: أين تذهب شكاواهم في كل مرة؟ ولماذا لم يلمسوا تحركاً ينهي معاناتهم؟ ويقول نايف مهدي: طرقنا أبواب مسؤولي الشركة الوطنية للمياه بجازان أكثر من مرة للمطالبة بتصحيح أوضاع المياه، لكن لا أحد يتجاوب معنا، ويضيف: نعيش هنا على أمل أن نشرب من مياه الشركة يوماً ما. ويضيف محمد السفياني: خدمة شبكات المياه وصلت إلى قرى قريبة من قريتنا، ونحن ننتظر، أرهقتنا أسعار صهاريج المياه، وتعبنا ذهاباً وإياباً؛ لجلب الصهريج. ويمسك بالحوار سعيد عبدالله قائلاً: تحمّلنا الكثير، ومع ذلك ما زلنا نحمل الأمل معنا حيث ما ذهبنا ومؤمنون أننا سنستيقظ يوماً على تدفق المياه في شبكة منازلنا، الأهم أن تنوي شركة المياه وتعزم.ويضيف جابر واصلي: الملوحة أضرت بصحتنا، وأرهقت جيوبنا فالوايت الواحد يراوح سعره بين 200 - 400 ريال بحسب المكان والزمان. Residents of the village of Al-Jirbah, located south of Abu Arish in the Jazan region of southern Saudi Arabia, are complaining about the lack of desalinated water, and its people have suffered due to the absence of drinking water. Despite their repeated attempts to approach officials and raise their grievances, they have yet to find anyone who can alleviate their suffering with the National Water Company in Jazan by providing potable water to their homes.During a tour by "Okaz" in the village, it was observed that residents rely on digging wells and bringing in water tankers, which have reached prices of 400 riyals per tanker. Several residents from villages south of Abu Arish, including Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sufyani, Nasser Al-Shubaili, Nayef Mahdi, and Sami Makhdoum, expressed in their conversation with "Okaz" their concerns about the projects promised to them for years. They also questioned: Where do their complaints go every time? And why have they not seen any action to end their suffering? Nayef Mahdi says: We have knocked on the doors of the officials at the National Water Company in Jazan more than once to demand the correction of water conditions, but no one responds to us. He adds: We live here hoping to drink from the company's water one day. Mohammed Al-Sufyani adds: The water network service has reached villages close to ours, and we are still waiting. The prices of water tankers have exhausted us, and we are tired of going back and forth to bring a tanker. The conversation is taken up by Saeed Abdullah, who says: We have endured a lot, yet we still carry hope with us wherever we go and believe that one day we will wake up to the flow of water in the network of our homes; the important thing is that the water company intends and is determined.Jaber Wasili adds: The salinity has harmed our health and strained our pockets, as the price of one tanker ranges between 200 - 400 riyals depending on the place and time.
