استغرب بعض سكان محافظة خميس مشيط بمنطقة عسير، من بدء أعمال الصيانة والتحسينات في ممشى الحي الراقي والذي يعد متنفساً لآلاف السكان والمصطافين، خصوصاً في مثل هذه الأيام التي تشهد فيها المنطقة العديد من الزوار والمتنزهين.وقالوا لـ«عكاظ»، ومنهم عبدالرحمن الشهري، وعلي البشري، ومبارك الشهراني: «كنا نتمنى من الجهات ذات العلاقة التريث قليلاً وعدم تسوير محيط الممشى بالزنك والحديد لأنه حجب الرؤية عن المارة وقائدي المركبات لحين انتهاء فترة الإجازة المدرسية.. إجازة الصيف».وأضافوا متسائلين عن المواقع البديلة في ظل إغلاق وتسوير الممشى، متمنين الإسراع في معالجة أعمال الصيانة والتحسينات التي بدأتها الأمانة.
