في واقعة أثارت صدمة الأهالي ووسائل الإعلام التركية، قامت معلمة في مدينة إزمير باستدعاء طلابها إلى منزلها أثناء ساعات الدوام، لإجبارهم على تنظيفه قبل إرجاعهم إلى المدرسة.

ووفقاً لشكاوى أولياء الأمور، كانت المعلمة تصطحب الطلاب يومياً وتفرض عليهم أداء مهمات تنظيف المنزل بالكامل، ما دفع الأهالي للتوجه بالبلاغات إلى وزارة التعليم والسلطات المحلية للتحقيق في الواقعة.

بدورها، استجابت وزارة التعليم وشرطة المدينة للبلاغات، وشرعت في تحقيق عاجل مع المعلمة، مستمعةً إلى الطلاب الذين أكدوا صحة الاتهامات، لتحديد المسؤوليات القانونية واتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة.

وسجلت الواقعة تفاعلاً واسعاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إذ طالب مستخدمون بفرض عقوبات صارمة لضمان عدم تكرار استغلال الأطفال، فيما سخر آخرون من الطريقة الغريبة، التي تم بها «تطبيق العقوبة»، واصفين الطلاب بأنهم أصبحوا «خدماً في منزل معلمتهم».
