حققت السعودية حضوراً لافتاً بعد فوزها بعدد من الجوائز المرموقة في مجالي الطب والتمريض، خلال الدورة الثالثة والستين لمجلس وزراء الصحة العرب، التي استضافتها مدينة طرابلس الليبية في ديسمبر الماضي. ويعكس هذا التميز التطور المتسارع للقطاع الصحي السعودي، وما يضمه من كفاءات وطنية أسهمت في تعزيز الابتكار ورفع الجاهزية الصحية، انسجاماً مع مستهدفات برنامج تحول القطاع الصحي ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030.
فقد حصد مدير مركز الأمير نايف للأبحاث الصحية الدكتور أحمد بن سالم باهمام، جائزة التفوق في البحث العلمي والابتكار، تقديراً لإسهاماته البحثية النوعية.
كما نال كبير استشاري جراحة القلب في مستشفى الملك فيصل التخصصي الدكتور زهير بن يوسف الهليس، جائزة التميّز والريادة والأثر المهني الطبي، نظير دوره البارز في تطوير جراحة القلب على المستوى العربي.
فيما فاز الفريق السعودي المكوّن من: منال سعيد بانصر، إيمان محمد الشمري، عبدالرحمن عبدالله أبو خضاعة، جوهرة فهد الحربي، وريم محمد الحميدان، بالجائزة الأولى في الممارسة السريرية عن مشروع INS Model، وهو نموذج مبتكر لرفع القدرة الاستيعابية لأقسام العناية الحرجة خلال الكوارث، طُوّر خلال جائحة كورونا لتعزيز جاهزية الكوادر التمريضية والمنظومة الصحية.
كما حصلت الرئيس التنفيذي للتمريض بمدينة الملك سعود الطبية الدكتورة بدرية عوض الشهري، مناصفة بين المملكة ومصر، على جائزة «العمل المميز في مهنتي التمريض والقبالة» عن مشروع الناتاثون، الذي يهدف إلى تطوير التعليم والتدريب التمريضي ورفع جودة مخرجات التعليم الصحي.
وتؤكد هذه الجوائز المكانة المتنامية للكوادر الصحية السعودية، وقدرتها على المنافسة عربياً عبر مشاريع مبتكرة تعزز جودة الرعاية الصحية، وترسّخ دور المملكة في بناء منظومة صحية أكثر استعداداً واستدامة.
Saudi Arabia has made a remarkable presence after winning several prestigious awards in the fields of medicine and nursing during the 63rd session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, which was hosted in the city of Tripoli, Libya, last December. This excellence reflects the rapid development of the Saudi health sector and the national competencies that have contributed to enhancing innovation and improving health readiness, in line with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program under the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Dr. Ahmed bin Salem BaHammam, Director of the Prince Naif Health Research Center, received the Award for Excellence in Scientific Research and Innovation, in recognition of his significant research contributions.
Dr. Zuhair bin Yusuf Al-Halais, Chief Consultant in Cardiac Surgery at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, was awarded the Excellence, Leadership, and Medical Professional Impact Award for his prominent role in advancing cardiac surgery at the Arab level.
The Saudi team consisting of: Manal Said Bansar, Iman Mohammed Al-Shammari, Abdulrahman Abdullah Abu Khodaa, Jawhara Fahd Al-Harbi, and Reem Mohammed Al-Humaidan, won the first prize in clinical practice for their project INS Model, which is an innovative model to enhance the capacity of intensive care units during disasters, developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to improve the readiness of nursing staff and the health system.
Dr. Badriya Awad Al-Shahri, CEO of Nursing at King Saud Medical City, jointly received the "Outstanding Work in Nursing and Midwifery" award with Egypt for the Nataathon project, which aims to develop nursing education and training and enhance the quality of health education outcomes.
These awards confirm the growing status of Saudi health professionals and their ability to compete at the Arab level through innovative projects that enhance the quality of healthcare and solidify the Kingdom's role in building a more prepared and sustainable health system.
