أكد مدرب الفيحاء البرتغالي بيدرو مانويل أن فريقه لعب جيداً في المباراة التي خسرها اليوم أمام الهلال (1-4) في الجولة الـ(17) من الدوري السعودي للمحترفين لكرة القدم.
وقال خلال المؤتمر الصحفي عقب المباراة: «لعبنا ضد فريق جاء من 20 انتصاراً، وفي المقابل أتينا من 7 مباريات لم نفز بها، وجودة لاعبيهم مختلفة، ويصنعون الفارق لفريقهم».
وأضاف: «لعبنا بشكل جيد وأظهرنا شجاعة خلال اللقاء، ولدينا شخصية كبيرة، وحاولنا العودة ولكن لم نوفق».
وأكد مانويل أن جدولة الدوري مرهقة للاعبيه، وسيحاول معالجة هذا الأمر من خلال التدوير بين اللاعبين واستغلال الجودة الفنية لديهم.
بدوره أكد مدرب الهلال الإيطالي سيميوني إنزاغي أن فريقه كان جيداً من بداية المباراة رغم التأخر بهدف، مبيناً أن الهدوء أسهم في عودتهم وتحقيق الفوز.
وقال: «سعينا للتسجيل من بداية المباراة، ولكن بعد استقبالنا للهدف عدنا، وفرضنا أسلوبنا ضد فريق منظم بشكل جيد».
وأضاف: «مطمئن لأداء المهاجمين خلال المباراة، كل منهم لديه الرغبة أن يعطي كل شيء في الملعب، ووجود نونيز على الجانب الأيسر لتغطية غياب سالم الدوسري، وإدارة الهلال تعمل بشكل متواصل لتدعيم الفريق سواء في الهجوم أو الوسط».
The Portuguese coach of Al-Fayha, Pedro Manuel, confirmed that his team played well in the match they lost today against Al-Hilal (1-4) in the 17th round of the Saudi Professional League.
He said during the press conference after the match: "we played against a team that came from 20 victories, while we came from 7 matches without a win. The quality of their players is different, and they make a difference for their team."
He added: "We played well and showed courage during the match, we have a strong character, and we tried to come back but we were not successful."
Manuel confirmed that the league schedule is exhausting for his players, and he will try to address this issue by rotating players and utilizing their technical quality.
For his part, the Italian coach of Al-Hilal, Simone Inzaghi, confirmed that his team was good from the start of the match despite falling behind by a goal, indicating that calmness contributed to their comeback and victory.
He said: "We aimed to score from the beginning of the match, but after conceding the goal, we came back and imposed our style against a well-organized team."
He added: "I am reassured by the performance of the strikers during the match; each of them has the desire to give everything on the field, and having Nunez on the left side to cover for the absence of Salem Al-Dawsari, and Al-Hilal's management is continuously working to strengthen the team, whether in attack or midfield."
