في خطوة جديدة ضمن المساعي الدولية الهادفة إلى إنهاء حرب أوكرانيا، أعلن الكرملين مشاركة روسيا في اجتماع ثلاثي مع مسؤولين أوكرانيين وأمريكيين، اليوم (الجمعة)، في أعقاب محادثات وصفها بـأنها «مفيدة» بين الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين والمبعوثين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف، وجاريد كوشنر في موسكو.
إيجور يرأس وفد موسكو
وقال مساعد الرئيس الروسي للشؤون الخارجية يوري أوشاكوف، إن الرئيس بوتين أصدر تعليماته لوفد موسكو بإجراء المشاورات، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار كامل تفاصيل المحادثات، التي أجراها في الكرملين مع مبعوثي الرئيس دونالد ترمب.
و ذكرت صحيفة «فاينانشيال تايمز»، أن الجنرال الروسي إيجور كوستيوكوف، مدير الاستخبارات العسكرية الروسية، سيرأس وفد موسكو في المحادثات الأمنية الثلاثية، وأن مبعوث الاستثمار كيريل ديميترييف، سيلتقي بشكل منفصل مع ستيف ويتكوف، لبحث القضايا الاقتصادية.
من جانبه، قال مسؤول أوكراني إن كييف سترسل كبير مفاوضيها رستم عمروف، ورئيس مكتب زيلينسكي ورئيس الاستخبارات العسكرية السابق كيريلو بودانوف، إضافة إلى دافيد أراخاميا، زعيم حزب الرئيس الحاكم في البرلمان.
السيادة على الأراضي
وكان الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، قال في المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي في دافوس، إنه يدعم لقاء فريقه التفاوضي مع نظرائهم الروس والأمريكيين على أرض محايدة، مضيفاً أن مسألة السيادة على الأراضي ستُناقش خلال الاجتماع الثلاثي.
وأضاف زيلينسكي، الجمعة، أنه ينتظر الرئيس الأمريكي ترمب، لتوقيع اتفاق نهائي بشأن الضمانات الأمنية الأمريكية لأوكرانيا، لافتاً إلى أنه «ناقش مع ترمب إمداد بلاده بصواريخ إضافية للدفاع الجوي، من طراز PAC-3، مضادة للصواريخ الباليستية، ويأمل في نتيجة إيجابية».
معضلة التنازلات
وكان الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين أجرى، على مدى 4 ساعات من المحادثات مع المبعوثين الأمريكيين ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر في الكرملين، تناولت أحدث خطة سلام تهدف إلى إنهاء الحرب، على أن تبدأ جولة جديدة من المفاوضات، الجمعة، بحسب «بلومبيرغ».
وكشف الكرملين أن المحادثات، لم تنجح في تجاوز عقدة «القضية الإقليمية»، إذ شدد الجانب الروسي على أن مطالبه المتعلقة بالأراضي لا تزال دون حل.
في المقابل، أعلن مسؤولون أمريكيون وأوكرانيون، إحراز تقدم كبير في خطة من 20 نقطة تهدف إلى إنهاء الحرب، إلا أن كييف وموسكو لا تزالان على خلاف حول نقاط رئيسية، من بينها مطالب بوتين بالسيطرة على أراضٍ تعود لأوكرانيا ولا تزال تحت سيطرتها.
In a new step within the international efforts aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, the Kremlin announced Russia's participation in a trilateral meeting with Ukrainian and American officials today (Friday), following talks described as "beneficial" between President Vladimir Putin and American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Moscow.
Igor to Head Moscow Delegation
Russian presidential aide for foreign affairs Yuri Ushakov stated that President Putin has instructed the Moscow delegation to conduct consultations, taking into account all the details of the discussions he held in the Kremlin with the envoys of President Donald Trump.
The Financial Times reported that Russian General Igor Kostyukov, the head of Russian military intelligence, will lead the Moscow delegation in the trilateral security talks, and investment envoy Kirill Dmitriev will meet separately with Steve Witkoff to discuss economic issues.
For his part, a Ukrainian official said that Kyiv will send its chief negotiator Rustam Umerov, the head of Zelensky's office, and former military intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, in addition to Davyd Arakhamia, the leader of the president's ruling party in parliament.
Sovereignty over Territories
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at the World Economic Forum in Davos that he supports a meeting of his negotiating team with their Russian and American counterparts on neutral ground, adding that the issue of sovereignty over territories will be discussed during the trilateral meeting.
Zelensky added on Friday that he is awaiting President Trump to sign a final agreement regarding American security guarantees for Ukraine, noting that he "discussed with Trump supplying his country with additional PAC-3 air defense missiles, which are capable of intercepting ballistic missiles, and hopes for a positive outcome."
The Dilemma of Concessions
Russian President Vladimir Putin held four hours of talks with American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in the Kremlin, discussing the latest peace plan aimed at ending the war, with a new round of negotiations set to begin on Friday, according to Bloomberg.
The Kremlin revealed that the talks did not succeed in overcoming the "territorial issue," as the Russian side emphasized that its demands regarding the territories remain unresolved.
In contrast, American and Ukrainian officials announced significant progress in a 20-point plan aimed at ending the war, but Kyiv and Moscow remain at odds over key points, including Putin's demands for control over territories that belong to Ukraine and are still under its control.
