أنهت المملكة مشاركتها في الاجتماع السنوي للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي 2026، الذي عقد في مدينة دافوس السويسرية في الفترة من 19 إلى 23 من يناير الجاري، بإعلان استضافتها للاجتماع الدولي للمنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي حول التعاون والنمو، تحت عنوان «بناء قواسم مشتركة وتعزيز النمو» في مدينة جدة يومي 22 و23 من أبريل القادم.
وعلى مدار الأسبوع، استقطب جناح «SAUDI HOUSE» أكثر من 10 آلاف زائر، وهو ضعف عدد الزوار في النسخة السابقة، حيث تعرفوا من خلاله إلى رحلة التحول الاجتماعي والاقتصادي غير المسبوقة في المملكة بموجب رؤية 2030، والفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة من خلالها، إضافة إلى الجانب السياحي والثقافي الخاص بالمملكة.
مبادرات كبرى
وشارك وفد المملكة الرفيع المستوى برئاسة وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله في العديد من الحوارات المؤثرة، وأشرف على إطلاق عدد من المبادرات الكبرى الهادفة لمواجهة التحديات العالمية واغتنام الفرص.
وخلال الاجتماع أكد الوفد السعودي مجدداً دعوة المملكة إلى الحوار البنّاء، والتعاون العملي، والعمل الجماعي بوصفها أسساً للنمو التحويلي، والاستقرار، والازدهار المستدام.
وشارك أعضاء الوفد في مجموعة من الجلسات الحوارية العامة والخاصة، والاجتماعات الثنائية، إلى جانب إجراء مقابلات مع وسائل الإعلام المحلية والإقليمية والعالمية من دافوس.
اتفاقيات متميزة
وشهدت مشاركة وفد المملكة في الاجتماع السنوي الإعلان عن مجموعة من المبادرات والاتفاقيات المتميزة.
وشارك أعضاء الوفد في جلسات حوارية رئيسية، من بينها «آفاق الاقتصاد العالمي»، و«نظرة على الاقتصاد السعودي»، و«جودة الحياة 2030 وما بعدها: مدن تشكلت بالابتكار»، و«اقتصادات المستقبل: تسريع المشهد نحو 2050»، و«من الإصلاح إلى التنفيذ: تطبيق التغيير على نطاق واسع»، و«الرمز البشري: تصميم أنظمة القدرات».
The Kingdom concluded its participation in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum 2026, which was held in the Swiss city of Davos from January 19 to 23, by announcing its hosting of the international meeting of the World Economic Forum on cooperation and growth, under the title "Building Common Grounds and Enhancing Growth" in the city of Jeddah on April 22 and 23.
Throughout the week, the "SAUDI HOUSE" pavilion attracted more than 10,000 visitors, which is double the number of visitors from the previous edition, where they learned about the unprecedented social and economic transformation journey in the Kingdom under Vision 2030, and the investment opportunities available through it, in addition to the tourism and cultural aspects of the Kingdom.
Major Initiatives
The high-level Saudi delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, participated in many impactful dialogues and oversaw the launch of several major initiatives aimed at addressing global challenges and seizing opportunities.
During the meeting, the Saudi delegation reiterated the Kingdom's call for constructive dialogue, practical cooperation, and collective action as foundations for transformative growth, stability, and sustainable prosperity.
Delegation members participated in a series of public and private dialogue sessions, bilateral meetings, as well as conducting interviews with local, regional, and global media from Davos.
Distinguished Agreements
The participation of the Saudi delegation in the annual meeting witnessed the announcement of a set of distinguished initiatives and agreements.
Delegation members participated in key dialogue sessions, including "Prospects for the Global Economy," "A Look at the Saudi Economy," "Quality of Life 2030 and Beyond: Cities Shaped by Innovation," "Economies of the Future: Accelerating the Landscape Towards 2050," "From Reform to Implementation: Applying Change at Scale," and "The Human Code: Designing Capability Systems."
