تحطّمت طائرة خاصة تقل 8 أشخاص مساء الأحد أثناء إقلاعها من مطار بانغور بولاية مين الأمريكية، وفقاً لإدارة الطيران الفيدرالية. ولم تتضح بعد طبيعة الإصابات أو مدى خطورتها، بحسب مصدر مطلع لشبكة CNN.
وأفاد المطار بأن فرق الطوارئ استجابت للحادثة التي وقعت حوالى الساعة 7:45 مساءً بتوقيت شرق الولايات المتحدة، ولا يزال المطار مغلقاً حتى إشعار آخر. الطائرة من طراز «بومباردييه تشالنجر 650» ومسجلة باسم شركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة في هيوستن.
وتُجري كل من إدارة الطيران الفيدرالية والمجلس الوطني لسلامة النقل تحقيقاً موسعاً لمعرفة ملابسات الحادثة.
وتأتي الحادثة في ظل عاصفة ثلجية كثيفة تجتاح شمال شرق البلاد، إذ انخفضت درجات الحرارة في مين إلى ما دون الصفر مع تساقط ثلوج خفيفة أدت إلى انخفاض مستوى الرؤية بشكل كبير.
وتُظهر التسجيلات الصوتية من مطار بانغور عبر LiveATC.net أن المراقبين الجويين والطيارين ناقشوا حالة انخفاض الرؤية وضرورة إزالة الجليد قبل الإقلاع. وبعد منح الطائرة الإذن بالإقلاع من المدرج رقم 33، سُمع أحد المراقبين يعلن بسرعة: «تم إيقاف جميع حركة المرور في المدرج!»، تلا ذلك إعلان آخر بأن الطائرة مقلوبة على الأرض.
وأكد المراقبون لاحقاً وجود 3 من أفراد الطاقم وربما 5 ركاب على متن الطائرة، وتم السماح لمركبات الطوارئ بالدخول فوراً إلى أرض المطار للتعامل مع الحادثة.

The airport reported that emergency crews responded to the incident, which occurred around 7:45 PM Eastern Time, and the airport remains closed until further notice. The aircraft is a Bombardier Challenger 650 registered to a limited liability company in Houston.
Both the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
The incident comes amid a heavy snowstorm sweeping across the Northeast, with temperatures in Maine dropping below freezing and light snowfall significantly reducing visibility.
Audio recordings from Bangor Airport via LiveATC.net show that air traffic controllers and pilots discussed the low visibility conditions and the need for de-icing before takeoff. After granting the aircraft clearance for takeoff from runway 33, one controller was heard quickly announcing, "All traffic on the runway is stopped!" followed by another announcement that the plane had flipped over on the ground.
The controllers later confirmed that there were 3 crew members and possibly 5 passengers on board the aircraft, and emergency vehicles were allowed immediate access to the airport grounds to deal with the incident.
