كشف عضو مجلس السيادة السوداني شمس الدين كباشي تقدم قوات الجيش نحو مدينة كادقلي في محور جنوب كردفان بعد نجاحها في كسر حصار مدينة الدلنج.
وأفاد نائب قائد الجيش، بأن العمليات العسكرية تمضي وفق الخطط الموضوعة، لافتا إلى تقدم القوات المسلحة في محور جنوب كردفان.
وأعلن كباشي أن القوات المسلحة السودانية ستواصل تقدمها نحو الفاشر ونيالا في خطوة إستراتيجية لتأمين المناطق الغربية من البلاد.
وشدد على أن السودان لن ينفصل، داعيًا جميع المواطنين والقوى السياسية إلى التمسك بوحدة البلاد والحفاظ على استقرارها في هذه المرحلة الدقيقة.
واتهم نائب قائد الجيش رئيس الحركة الشعبية شمال عبد العزيز الحلو المتحالفة مع الدعم السريع بإدخال قواتها إلى جنوب كردفان، مؤكداً استعداد الجيش للتصدي لها.
وكان الجيش السوداني، أكد الإثنين الماضي، كسر الحصار الذي فرضته قوات الدعم السريع على مدينة الدلنج في جنوب كردفان لأكثر من عام ونصف.
ويأتي تحرك الجيش حول الدلنج فيما يحاول وقف تقدم قوات الدعم في منطقة كردفان.
وبدعم من الحركة الشعبية لتحرير السودان - شمال جناح عبد العزيز الحلو، حولت قوات الدعم السريع تركيزها شرقا بعد سيطرتها على مدينة الفاشر، آخر معاقل الجيش في غرب دارفور في أكتوبر الماضي.
وتسعى قوات الدعم السريع إحكام قبضتها على غرب كردفان، وسيطرت على هجليج، حيث يقع أكبر حقل نفط في السودان، وشدّدت حصارها على مدينة كادوقلي عاصمة ولاية جنوب كردفان، والتي تتفشى فيها المجاعة..
وتشهد الخرطوم ومدن أخرى يسيطر عليها الجيش في وسط البلاد وشرقها هدوءا نسبيا، لكن قوات الدعم السريع تواصل شن ضربات متفرقة بطائرات مسيرة، مستهدفة خصوصا بنى تحتية، بينما تتواصل المعارك في مناطق أخرى.
