ضرب زلزال بقوة 6.4 درجة على مقياس ريختر قبالة سواحل جزيرة فانواتو الواقعة في جنوب المحيط الهادئ. وذكرت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية، أن الزلزال وقع على بُعد 52 كيلومتراً شمال غرب مدينة «بورت أولري»، وعلى عمق 10 كيلومترات. ولم ترد حتى الآن تقارير عن وقوع أضرار مادية أو بشرية جراء الزلزال. A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Vanuatu Island in the South Pacific. The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred 52 kilometers northwest of the city of "Port Olry," at a depth of 10 kilometers. No reports of material or human damage have been received so far as a result of the earthquake.
