في مشهدٍ هزّ مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، ظهرت رئيسة المكسيك كلوديا شينباوم باردو وهي تتعرض لمضايقة من رجلٍ يبدو أنه كان مخموراً، إذ اقترب منها بطريقة مفاجئة أثناء تحيتها لمواطنيها في قلب العاصمة، في لحظةٍ تحوّلت من تحيةٍ ودّية إلى موقفٍ محرج ومثير للجدل.

ولم تكن تتوقع الرئيسة كلوديا أن تتحوّل لحظة اللقاء مع مؤيديها إلى تجربة صادمة أمام عدسات الكاميرات، ففي ساحة زوكالو الشهيرة، وبين هتافات الجماهير، باغت الرجل «المخمور» الرئيسة المكسيكية بطريقة غير لائقة، ويُظهر المقطع الرجل وهو يقترب منها من الخلف، ويعانقها، ويحاول تقبيلها، إلى أن تدخل أفراد الأمن وأبعدوه عن المكان.

يذكر أن كلوديا شينباوم من مواليد 24 يونيو 1962، وهي عالمة مكسيكية وسياسية، ورئيسة المكسيك المنتخبة بعد فوزها كمرشحة لليسار الحاكم بانتخابات الرئاسة في المكسيك بفارق كبير عن منافستها اليمينية سوتشيتل غالفيز في الانتخابات العامة المكسيكية لعام 2024، لتصبح أول امرأة ترأس المكسيك. شغلت سابقاً منصب رئيس حكومة مكسيكو سيتي (يعادل منصب رئيس البلدية). وتم انتخابها عمدة مدينة مكسيكو في 1 يوليو 2018 كجزء من ائتلاف «معاً سنصنع التاريخ». وهي أول امرأة وأول شخص من خلفية ثقافية يهودية يتم انتخابه عمدة لمدينة مكسيكو سيتي.

In a scene that shook social media, Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo was seen being harassed by a man who appeared to be drunk, as he approached her unexpectedly while she was greeting her citizens in the heart of the capital, in a moment that transformed from a friendly greeting to an embarrassing and controversial situation.

President Claudia did not expect that her moment of meeting with her supporters would turn into a shocking experience in front of the cameras. In the famous Zocalo square, amidst the cheers of the crowd, the "drunk" man surprised the Mexican president in an inappropriate manner, as the footage shows the man approaching her from behind, hugging her, and attempting to kiss her, until security personnel intervened and removed him from the area.

It is worth mentioning that Claudia Sheinbaum was born on June 24, 1962, and she is a Mexican scientist and politician, elected as the president of Mexico after winning as a candidate for the ruling left in the presidential elections in Mexico by a large margin over her right-wing competitor, Xóchitl Gálvez, in the 2024 Mexican general elections, becoming the first woman to lead Mexico. She previously held the position of Head of Government of Mexico City (equivalent to the mayor). She was elected mayor of Mexico City on July 1, 2018, as part of the coalition "Together We Will Make History." She is the first woman and the first person from a Jewish cultural background to be elected mayor of Mexico City.
