في موقف إنساني يجسد معاني التضحية والوفاء، بادر الشاب عبدالله عبدالرحمن الأكلبي للتبرع بإحدى كليتيه لإنقاذ حياة شقيقته، التي كانت تعاني من فشل كلوي مزمن أدى إلى تدهور حالتها الصحية، قبل أن يبادر شقيقها بإجراء الفحوصات اللازمة ليتبين تطابق الأنسجة بينهما بنسبة عالية، ما جعله المتبرع الأنسب. وقد خضع الشاب لعملية التبرع في مدينة الأمير سلطان الطبية بالرياض تزامناً مع خضوع شقيقته لعملية الزراعة. وقد لاقت هذه البادرة استحسان المجتمع؛ إذ إن ما قام به الأكلبي هو مثال على قوة الروابط الأسرية التي يحث عليها الدين الإسلامي، وقيم التكافل والعطاء المتجذرة في المجتمع السعودي. كما أنها تبرز وعي المجتمع تجاه ثقافة التبرع بالأعضاء، الأمر الذي يسهم في إنقاذ العديد من المرضى، ويمنحهم فرصة جديدة للحياة. In a humanitarian act that embodies the meanings of sacrifice and loyalty, the young man Abdullah Abdulrahman Al-Aklabi volunteered to donate one of his kidneys to save the life of his sister, who was suffering from chronic kidney failure that led to a deterioration in her health condition, before he proceeded to undergo the necessary tests to find a high tissue match between them, making him the most suitable donor. The young man underwent the donation procedure at Prince Sultan Medical City in Riyadh, coinciding with his sister's transplantation surgery. This initiative was well-received by the community; what Al-Aklabi did is an example of the strength of family ties encouraged by Islamic teachings, and the values of solidarity and giving that are deeply rooted in Saudi society. It also highlights the community's awareness of the culture of organ donation, which contributes to saving many patients and gives them a new chance at life.
