بعد وصوله إلى إربيل للقاء قائد قوات سورية الديموقراطية (قسد) مظلوم عبدي، عقد المبعوث الأمريكي الخاص إلى سورية توم باراك اليوم (السبت) لقاء مع رئيس الحزب الديموقراطي الكردستاني مسعود بارزاني بمصيف صلاح الدين لمناقشة المستجدات في الساحة السورية.
وأكدت مصادر إعلامية أن قائد قوات «قسد» مظلوم عبدي والمبعوث الأمريكي ناقشا عدة ملفات رئيسية، أبرزها مستقبل انتشار وتمركز القوات الكردية في المناطق التي انسحبت منها أخيراً، لاسيما دير حافر، وأحياء الشيخ مقصود والأشرفية، إضافة إلى بحث آليات تنفيذ اتفاق العاشر من مارس الماضي الموقع بين الحكومة السورية ومظلوم عبدي، إلى جانب مناقشة الجوانب العسكرية في ظل حالة التوتر القائمة.
اتصالات أمريكية مع كل الأطراف
وكان باراك قد كتب على حسابه في «إكس» قُبيل التوجه إلى إربيل: «الولايات المتحدة تحافظ على اتصالات وثيقة مع جميع الأطراف في سورية، وتعمل على مدار الساعة لتهدئة الأوضاع ومنع التصعيد، والعودة إلى محادثات الدمج بين الحكومة السورية وقوات سورية الديموقراطية».
وكانت هيئة العمليات في الجيش العربي السوري قد أعلنت في وقت سابق اليوم سيطرتها على مدينة مسكنة شرق حلب بشكل كامل، وحقل صفيان النفطي، وعقدة الرصافة، وحقل الثورة بالقرب من مدينة الطبقة، والتوجه نحو بلدة دبسي عفنان.
جاء ذلك بعد أن أعلنت «قسد» أنها ستنسحب من «حلب» ولم تمض على ذلك الإعلان ساعات حتى اتهم الجيش السوري «قسد» بخرق الاتفاق واستهداف دورية تابعة له قرب مدينة مسكنة، ما أدى إلى مقتل جنديين وإصابة آخرين.
في الوقت ذاته، أعلن الجيش السوري منطقة غرب الفرات منطقة عسكرية مغلقة بعد استهداف القوات الكردية وعناصر من النظام البائد القوات السورية أثناء تطبيقها الاتفاق القاضي بانسحاب عناصر «قسد» من مناطق التماس شرق حلب.
«قسد» تلغم جسراً بريف الرقة
واتهم البيان «قسد» وحلفاءها بـ«تلغيم جسر شعيب الذكر» بريف الرقة الغربي لإيقاف تطبيق الاتفاق، موضحاً أن تفجير هذا الجسر سيؤدي لتعطيل الاتفاق وستكون هناك عواقب وخيمة جداً.
وذكر البيان أن قوات حزب العمال الكردستاني تنتشر في عدد من القرى والبلدات غرب الفرات وتعيق تطبيق الاتفاق، وتستهدف قوات الجيش العربي السوري، مؤكداً أن الجيش سيتابع بسط السيطرة على مناطق غرب الفرات، ويتعامل مع أي استهداف لقواته.
ولفت إلى أن الجيش دخل محافظة الرقة، وسيطر على بلدة دبسي عفنان غرب المحافظة، ويتقدم باتجاه الطبقة، وذلك بعد أن سيطر على مدينتي دير حافر ومسكنة، وعلى 34 قرية وبلدة بريف حلب الشرقي وسط تسليم المئات من عناصر «قسد» أنفسهم للجيش، وتأمين خروج أكثر من 200 عنصر منهم.
وأعلنت وزارة الداخلية السورية ضبط مستودع يحتوي على أسلحة متنوعة وذخائر مختلفة تعود لـ«قسد» في مدينة دير حافر بريف محافظة حلب الشرقي خلال عمليات المسح الأمني التي تُنفّذها وحدات قوى الأمن الداخلي في أحياء المدينة عقب تأمينها في إطار جهود الوزارة المستمرة للحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار.
وتوجهت فرق طبية وسيارات إسعاف مزوّدة بعيادات متنقلة إلى منطقتي دير حافر ومسكنة بالريف الشرقي لتقديم الخدمات الطبية والإسعافية اللازمة للأهالي، وضمان استمرارية الرعاية الصحية.
After arriving in Erbil to meet with the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, the U.S. special envoy to Syria, Tom Barak, held a meeting today (Saturday) with the president of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, in Salahaddin resort to discuss the developments in the Syrian arena.
Media sources confirmed that SDF commander Mazloum Abdi and the U.S. envoy discussed several key issues, most notably the future deployment and positioning of Kurdish forces in areas they recently withdrew from, particularly Deir Hafir, and the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh. They also discussed the mechanisms for implementing the agreement signed on March 10 between the Syrian government and Mazloum Abdi, in addition to discussing military aspects amid the ongoing tensions.
U.S. Communications with All Parties
Barak had written on his account on "X" before heading to Erbil: "The United States maintains close communications with all parties in Syria and works around the clock to calm the situation, prevent escalation, and return to integration talks between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces."
The Operations Directorate of the Syrian Arab Army had announced earlier today its complete control over the city of Maskanah east of Aleppo, the Sufyan oil field, the Rasafah junction, and the Al-Thawrah field near the city of Tabqa, and is heading towards the town of Dabsi Afnan.
This came after the SDF announced that it would withdraw from "Aleppo," and just hours after that announcement, the Syrian army accused the SDF of violating the agreement and targeting one of its patrols near the city of Maskanah, resulting in the death of two soldiers and injuries to others.
At the same time, the Syrian army declared the area west of the Euphrates a closed military zone after Kurdish forces and elements of the fallen regime targeted Syrian forces while implementing the agreement regarding the withdrawal of SDF elements from the contact areas east of Aleppo.
SDF Mines a Bridge in Raqqa Countryside
The statement accused the SDF and its allies of "mining the Shu'ayb al-Dhikr bridge" in the western Raqqa countryside to halt the implementation of the agreement, clarifying that the explosion of this bridge would disrupt the agreement and there would be very severe consequences.
The statement mentioned that the forces of the Kurdistan Workers' Party are deployed in several villages and towns west of the Euphrates and are obstructing the implementation of the agreement, targeting the Syrian Arab Army forces, confirming that the army will continue to assert control over areas west of the Euphrates and will respond to any targeting of its forces.
It pointed out that the army has entered Raqqa province, has controlled the town of Dabsi Afnan in the west of the province, and is advancing towards Tabqa, after having taken control of the cities of Deir Hafir and Maskanah, and 34 villages and towns in the eastern Aleppo countryside, amidst the surrender of hundreds of SDF elements to the army and the securing of the exit of more than 200 of them.
The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the seizure of a warehouse containing various weapons and ammunition belonging to the SDF in the city of Deir Hafir in the eastern Aleppo countryside during security sweep operations conducted by internal security forces in the neighborhoods of the city after securing it as part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to maintain security and stability.
Medical teams and ambulances equipped with mobile clinics were dispatched to the areas of Deir Hafir and Maskanah in the eastern countryside to provide necessary medical and emergency services to the residents and ensure the continuity of healthcare.
