عقد البرلمان العراقي اليوم (الأحد) جلسة لمناقشة الوضع الأمني بعد نقل عدد من سجناء تنظيم داعش الإرهابي من سورية إلى العراق.
وقالت النائبة عن كتلة دولة القانون منى الغرابي في بيان إن مجلس النواب عقد جلسته اليوم لمناقشة الوضع الأمني وتأمين الحدود العراقية مع الجانب السوري، وتمت استضافة وزير الدفاع والقادة الأمنيين، فيما اعتذر وزير الداخلية عن الحضور، موضحة أنهم سجلوا اعتراضاً على موافقة العراق على قبول نقل سجناء داعش من سورية إلى العراق، وأن أكثر الإرهابيين من جنسيات أجنبية ومن مختلف دول العالم.
وأوضحت منى الغرابي أن «هناك 9 عراقيين في الدفعة الأولى، البالغ عددها 150 داعشياً، التي نُقلت إلى العراق»، مشيرة إلى أن «السجناء سيتم وضعهم في السجون العراقية تحت إشراف وزارة العدل».
وأكدت أنه «يجب إخضاع هؤلاء الدواعش تحت المحاكم العراقية والمحاكم الدولية»، لافتة إلى أنهم طلبوا من رئيس مجلس النواب توجيه كتاب رسمي يبيّن اعتراض أعضاء البرلمان على قرار نقل السجناء الدواعش من سورية إلى العراق.
The Iraqi Parliament held a session today (Sunday) to discuss the security situation following the transfer of a number of ISIS prisoners from Syria to Iraq.
Deputy Mona Al-Gharabi, from the State of Law Coalition, stated in a statement that the House of Representatives convened today to discuss the security situation and securing the Iraqi borders with the Syrian side. The Minister of Defense and security leaders were hosted, while the Minister of Interior apologized for his absence. She clarified that they registered an objection to Iraq's approval of accepting the transfer of ISIS prisoners from Syria to Iraq, noting that most of the terrorists are of foreign nationalities from various countries around the world.
Mona Al-Gharabi explained that "there are 9 Iraqis in the first batch, which consists of 150 ISIS members, that were transferred to Iraq," pointing out that "the prisoners will be placed in Iraqi prisons under the supervision of the Ministry of Justice."
She emphasized that "these ISIS members must be subjected to Iraqi courts and international courts," indicating that they requested the Speaker of the House of Representatives to issue an official letter clarifying the objections of the parliament members to the decision to transfer the ISIS prisoners from Syria to Iraq.
