صادرت جماعة الحوثي معدات وآليات تابعة للأمم المتحدة في صنعاء، ونقلتها إلى موقع غير معلوم، دون إذن مسبق أو تقديم مبررات رسمية.
وقال بيان صادر عن منسق الشؤون الإنسانية للأمم المتحدة في اليمن جوليان هارنيس، اليوم (الجمعة): إن الحوثيين اقتحموا، أمس الخميس، 6 مكاتب أممية في صنعاء، جميعها غير مأهولة حالياً بالموظفين، ونقلوا معظم معدات الاتصالات الموجودة فيها، إضافة إلى عدد من مركبات الأمم المتحدة.
وأفاد البيان أن الأمم المتحدة لم تُصرّح بنقل هذه الأصول، كما لم تتلقَّ أي إخطار من الحوثيين بالأسباب التي دفعتهم إلى اتخاذ هذه الخطوة، لافتاً إلى أن جميع المعدات المصادرة جرى استيرادها إلى اليمن وفق الإجراءات القانونية.
وأوضح أن هذه المعدات تشكل جزءاً أساسياً من الحد الأدنى للبنية التحتية التي تمكّن الأمم المتحدة من الحفاظ على وجودها وتنفيذ برامجها الإنسانية في البلاد.
وحسب البيان الأممي، فإن جماعة الحوثي لم تمنح الإذن لخدمة الأمم المتحدة الجوية الإنسانية (UNHAS) بتسيير رحلات إلى صنعاء منذ أكثر من شهر، ومنعت تسيير الرحلات إلى محافظة مأرب، منذ أكثر من 4 أشهر، دون تقديم أي توضيحات رسمية.
وأكدت الأمم المتحدة أن رحلات UNHAS تُعد الوسيلة الوحيدة التي تتيح لموظفي المنظمات غير الحكومية الدولية الدخول إلى المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرة الحوثي والخروج منها، محذرةً من أن استمرار منع هذه الرحلات يفرض قيوداً إضافية على إيصال المساعدات الإنسانية.
وأضاف البيان أن مصادرة أصول الأمم المتحدة، ومنع الرحلات الجوية يأتيان في وقت تشهد فيه الحاجات الإنسانية في اليمن تصاعداً كبيراً، خصوصاً في المناطق الخاضعة لسيطرة الحوثيين، محذراً من أن هذه الإجراءات ستؤدي إلى تفاقم الوضع الإنساني.
وذكّر البيان بقراري مجلس الأمن الدولي 2801 (2025) و2813 (2026)، اللذين يدعوان الحوثيين إلى توفير بيئة عمل آمنة ومأمونة، بما في ذلك الإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن جميع الموظفين المحتجزين من الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات غير الحكومية والبعثات الدبلوماسية.
The Houthi group confiscated equipment and vehicles belonging to the United Nations in Sana'a and transferred them to an unknown location, without prior permission or providing official justifications.
A statement issued by the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, Julian Harneis, today (Friday) stated that the Houthis stormed six UN offices in Sana'a yesterday (Thursday), all of which are currently unstaffed, and moved most of the communication equipment present there, in addition to several UN vehicles.
The statement indicated that the United Nations did not authorize the transfer of these assets, nor did it receive any notification from the Houthis regarding the reasons that led them to take this step, noting that all confiscated equipment was imported to Yemen in accordance with legal procedures.
It clarified that this equipment constitutes an essential part of the minimum infrastructure that enables the United Nations to maintain its presence and implement its humanitarian programs in the country.
According to the UN statement, the Houthi group has not granted permission for the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) to operate flights to Sana'a for more than a month and has prevented flights to Marib Governorate for over four months, without providing any official explanations.
The United Nations confirmed that UNHAS flights are the only means that allow international NGO staff to enter and exit areas under Houthi control, warning that the continued prohibition of these flights imposes additional restrictions on the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The statement added that the confiscation of UN assets and the prohibition of air travel come at a time when humanitarian needs in Yemen are significantly escalating, especially in areas under Houthi control, warning that these measures will exacerbate the humanitarian situation.
The statement reminded of UN Security Council Resolutions 2801 (2025) and 2813 (2026), which call on the Houthis to provide a safe and secure working environment, including the immediate and unconditional release of all UN and NGO staff and diplomatic missions being held.
