حقق الاتفاق فوزاً ثميناً على ضيفه التعاون بنتيجة (1-0)، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء) على ملعب إيجو بالدمام، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ20 من دوري روشن السعودي.
سجل هدف المباراة الوحيد المحترف الهولندي جورجينيو فينالدوم عند الدقيقة (71).
وشهد الشوط الأول أفضلية نسبية للاتفاق، وكاد الفرنسي موسى ديمبيلي أن يفتتح التسجيل مبكراً في الدقيقة (10) بعد كرة طولية وصلته على حدود منطقة الجزاء، إلا أن الحارس البرازيلي مايلسون تصدى للمحاولة. ورد التعاون بمحاولات خطرة، أبرزها تسديدة الفرنسي أنجيلو فولجيني التي أبعدها الحارس السلوفاكي روداك في الدقيقة (27).
وتألق مايلسون بشكل لافت، إذ تصدى لعدة فرص محققة أبرزها تسديدة فينالدوم من داخل منطقة الجزاء ومتابعة لاعبي الاتفاق، إضافة إلى تسديدة خالد الغنام في الوقت بدل الضائع من الشوط الأول، لينتهي النصف الأول بالتعادل السلبي.
وفي الشوط الثاني، تبادل الفريقان المحاولات، وأهدر محمد القحطاني فرصة للتعاون بتسديدة علت المرمى في الدقيقة (47)، قبل أن يرد مختار علي بتسديدة جانبت القائم في الدقيقة (52). واستمر التألق الدفاعي وحراسة المرمى من الجانبين حتى الدقيقة (71)، حين استغل فينالدوم كرة داخل منطقة الجزاء وأسكنها الشباك، مسجلاً هدف الفوز للاتفاق.
وحافظ الاتفاق على تقدمه حتى صافرة النهاية، مستفيداً من تألق حارسه روداك الذي تصدى للعديد من محاولات لاعبي التعاون لإدراك التعادل.
بهذا الفوز، رفع الاتفاق رصيده إلى 32 نقطة في المركز السابع، بينما تجمد رصيد التعاون عند 38 نقطة في المركز الخامس.
The agreement achieved a valuable victory over its guest, Al-Taawoun, with a score of (1-0), in the match that brought them together this evening (Tuesday) at the Ego Stadium in Dammam, as part of the 20th round of the Roshen Saudi League.
The only goal of the match was scored by Dutch professional Georginio Wijnaldum in the (71st) minute.
The first half saw a relative advantage for the agreement, and French player Moussa Dembélé nearly opened the scoring early in the (10th) minute after receiving a long ball at the edge of the penalty area, but Brazilian goalkeeper Mailson thwarted the attempt. Al-Taawoun responded with dangerous attempts, the most notable being a shot from French player Angelo Fulgini that was saved by Slovak goalkeeper Rodak in the (27th) minute.
Mailson shone remarkably, as he saved several clear chances, the most notable being a shot from Wijnaldum inside the penalty area and follow-ups from the agreement players, in addition to a shot from Khalid Al-Ghanam in stoppage time of the first half, ending the first half in a goalless draw.
In the second half, both teams exchanged attempts, and Mohammed Al-Qahtani wasted a chance for Al-Taawoun with a shot that went over the goal in the (47th) minute, before Mukhtar Ali responded with a shot that went wide of the post in the (52nd) minute. The defensive and goalkeeping brilliance continued from both sides until the (71st) minute, when Wijnaldum took advantage of a ball inside the penalty area and found the back of the net, scoring the winning goal for the agreement.
The agreement maintained its lead until the final whistle, benefiting from the brilliance of its goalkeeper Rodak, who saved many attempts from Al-Taawoun players to equalize.
With this victory, the agreement raised its tally to 32 points in seventh place, while Al-Taawoun's tally remained at 38 points in fifth place.
