توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس هذا اليوم (الخميس) هطول أمطار رعدية على أجزاء من مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة، ومكة المكرمة تمتد إلى الأجزاء الجنوبية من منطقة المدينة المنورة، كما تنشط الرياح السطحية المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على الأجزاء الشرقية من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من مناطق نجران، الرياض، القصيم، حائل، الجوف والأجزاء الغربية من منطقة الحدود الشمالية، وأمطار خفيفة على أجزاء من وسط المملكة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 15-30 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
فيما ستكون حركة الرياح على الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 20-40 كم/ساعة وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Thursday) thunderstorms in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, extending to the southern parts of the Madinah region. Surface winds that stir up dust and sand will also be active in the eastern parts of those areas, as well as in parts of Najran, Riyadh, Al-Qassim, Ha'il, Al-Jawf, and the western parts of the Northern Borders region, with light rain expected in parts of central Saudi Arabia.
The report indicated that the surface wind movement over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly in the southern part, with speeds of 15-30 km/h, wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea condition being light to moderate.
Meanwhile, the wind movement over the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 20-40 km/h, with wave heights ranging from one meter to two meters, and the sea condition being light to moderate.
