وسط ترقب لما ستسفر عنه المحادثات الأمريكيةـ الإيرانية غداً (الجمعة)، ذكرت وسائل إعلام إيرانية رسمية اليوم (الخميس)، أن الحرس الثوري الإيراني احتجز سفينتين تحملان أكثر من مليون لتر من الوقود المهرب.
وأوضحت أن طاقمي السفينتين يتألفان من 15 أجنبياً وتمت إحالتهم إلى السلطات القضائية.
في الوقت ذاته، أعلن رئيس جهاز الاستخبارات الخارجية الروسي سيرجي ناريشكين اليوم، أن إيران شريكة لروسيا، وأن البلدين يتمتعان بتعاون وثيق عبر أجهزة استخباراتهما.
وقال ناريشكين للصحفيين: «إيران شريكتنا، لقد ذكرتم الاتفاقية المبرمة بين موسكو وطهران، وسنلتزم بجميع بنودها»، في إشارة إلى اتفاقية الشراكة الشاملة الموقعة في 2025.
وأضاف: «فيما يتعلق بالتعاون عبر أجهزة استخباراتنا، أودّ أن أؤكد أن جهاز الاستخبارات الخارجية على اتصال وثيق مع أجهزة الاستخبارات الإيرانية، وهو تعاون مثمر لا يتوقف تحت أي ظرف من الظروف».
وكان مسؤول أمريكي قد قال إن المحادثات بين واشنطن وطهران ستعقد في عُمان صباح (الجمعة) القادمة، مبيناً أن قرار الإبقاء على الاجتماع مع الإيرانيين جاء حفاظاً على المسار الدبلوماسي.
وأشار إلى أن دولاً حليفة طلبت إعطاء فرصة للدبلوماسية مع إيران.
من جهته، أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، أن المحادثات النووية مع الولايات المتحدة المقررة في مسقط غداً ستعقد الساعةِ العاشرة صباحاً.
وذكرت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت» أن الولايات المتحدة طلبت من إسرائيل التريث وعدم الإقدام على أية خطوات متسرعة، مثل شن ضربة استباقية على إيران خلال المفاوضات.
وقال مسؤول إسرائيلي للصحيفة، إن مستوى التنسيق بين الطرفين وثيق للغاية، وغير مسبوق تقريباً، مبيناً أن عدد الضباط الإسرائيليين الذين يزورون الولايات المتحدة، والضباط الأمريكيين الذين يزورون إسرائيل، كبير جداً.
Amid anticipation of what the American-Iranian talks will yield tomorrow (Friday), Iranian state media reported today (Thursday) that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard has seized two ships carrying more than a million liters of smuggled fuel.
It was clarified that the crews of the two ships consist of 15 foreigners and have been referred to the judicial authorities.
At the same time, the head of the Russian foreign intelligence service, Sergei Naryshkin, announced today that Iran is a partner of Russia, and that the two countries enjoy close cooperation through their intelligence agencies.
Naryshkin told reporters: “Iran is our partner. You mentioned the agreement between Moscow and Tehran, and we will adhere to all its terms,” referring to the comprehensive partnership agreement signed in 2025.
He added: “Regarding cooperation between our intelligence agencies, I would like to emphasize that the foreign intelligence service is in close contact with the Iranian intelligence agencies, and it is a fruitful cooperation that does not stop under any circumstances.”
An American official stated that talks between Washington and Tehran will be held in Oman on the upcoming Friday morning, indicating that the decision to maintain the meeting with the Iranians was made to preserve the diplomatic track.
He noted that allied countries requested to give diplomacy with Iran a chance.
For his part, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed that the nuclear talks with the United States scheduled in Muscat tomorrow will take place at 10 AM.
The newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that the United States has asked Israel to hold off and not take any hasty actions, such as launching a preemptive strike on Iran during the negotiations.
An Israeli official told the newspaper that the level of coordination between the two sides is extremely close, almost unprecedented, noting that the number of Israeli officers visiting the United States and American officers visiting Israel is very high.
