بعد 4 سنوات من الزلازل المالية والأحكام الصادمة وغضب آلاف الضحايا، أغلقت المحاكم التركية فصلاً مثيراً للجدل من أكبر عملية احتيال بالعملات الرقمية في تاريخ البلاد، مع الإفراج عن آخر متهمين محتجزين في قضية منصة «ثودكس». وشمل القرار شقيقي مؤسس المنصة، غوفين وسيراب أوزير، اللذين غادرا السجن إلى المراقبة المنزلية، ليصبح المشهد غير المسبوق واقعاً وبهذا تنتهي قضية احتيال بمئات الملايين دون أي متهم خلف القضبان.

كانت الثقة حينها كاملة، إلى أن جاء أبريل 2021. وفي ليلة واحدة، توقفت المنصة، وتبخرت الأرصدة، واختفى المؤسس فاروق فاتح أوزير عن الأنظار، تاركاً وراءه مستثمرين مصدومين، واتهامات بتهريب أموال قُدرت لاحقاً بمليارات الدولارات.
لكن الهروب لم يدم طويلاً. فالإنتربول دخل على الخط، وأُلقي القبض على أوزير في ألبانيا عام 2022، قبل إعادته إلى تركيا وسط تغطية إعلامية مكثفة. وكانت المحاكمة استثنائية، والحكم جاء صادماً حتى بمقاييس القضاء التركي: الذي قضى حينها بأكثر من 11 ألف سنة سجناً لكل متهم، بتهم الاحتيال وغسل الأموال وتأسيس منظمة إجرامية، في قضية طالت أكثر من 2,000 ضحية.
إلا أن القصة لم تنتهِ عند الأحكام. ففي نوفمبر 2025، عُثر على فاروق أوزير جثة معلقة داخل زنزانته في سجن شديد الحراسة، منهياً حياته بطريقة مأساوية، ومغلقاً الباب على أسرار كثيرة لم تُكشف.
واليوم، ومع خروج شقيقيه من السجن، تُطوى صفحة الاحتجاز رسمياً، لكن جرح الثقة الذي خلّفته «ثودكس» لا يزال مفتوحاً في الوعي التركي، كتحذير صارخ من عالم العملات الرقمية حين يغيب التنظيم، ويُترك عالم المال للأوهام.

Trust was complete at that time, until April 2021 arrived. In one night, the platform stopped, balances evaporated, and the founder Faruk Fatih Ozer disappeared from sight, leaving behind shocked investors and accusations of embezzling funds later estimated in the billions of dollars.
However, the escape did not last long. Interpol got involved, and Ozer was arrested in Albania in 2022, before being returned to Turkey amid extensive media coverage. The trial was exceptional, and the verdict was shocking even by Turkish judicial standards: it sentenced each defendant to more than 11,000 years in prison on charges of fraud, money laundering, and establishing a criminal organization, in a case that affected more than 2,000 victims.
Yet the story did not end with the sentences. In November 2025, Faruk Ozer was found hanging in his cell in a high-security prison, ending his life in a tragic manner, and closing the door on many secrets that remained uncovered.
Today, with his brothers' release from prison, the chapter of detention is officially closed, but the wound of trust left by "Thodex" remains open in the Turkish consciousness, serving as a stark warning from the world of cryptocurrencies when regulation is absent, leaving the financial world to illusions.
