الرسالة التي حملها وزير الإعلام سلمان الدوسري من إقامة المؤتمر الصحفي الحكومي في مدينة القدية، بالتزامن مع افتتاح أول أصولها يوم الأربعاء المقبل، هي التأكيد على دور الإعلام التنموي في تعظيم الأثر المتحقق من رؤية السعودية 2030، ونقل الصورة الحقيقية للعالم من قلب الحدث، والاحتفاء بالمنجزات التي تتوالى في مهمة نهوض وطني ومجتمعي نحو المستقبل.

الإعلام التنموي يستحق أن يكون مبادرة نوعية تتبناها وزارة الإعلام بأهدافها ومستهدفاتها ومشروعاتها، خصوصاً أن الأعوام الخمسة المقبلة ستشهد افتتاح مشروعات كبرى وصولاً إلى إكسبو 2030، وهذه الرحلة تتطلب رؤية استراتيجية عميقة في تخريج الرسالة الإعلامية التنموية للعالم، وبناء وتطوير شراكات إعلامية تعكس ما تحقّق من تنمية غير مسبوقة، وإبراز النجاحات التي تجاوزت مستهدفاتها، والأهم أثرها الاقتصادي والاجتماعي والثقافي في المجتمع.

الإعلام التنموي ليس تغطية حدث أو مناسبة أو فعالية، ولكنه أعمق من ذلك بكثير في تحقيق أهداف التنمية الشاملة والمستدامة، وصناعة الوعي للمستقبل، وتحفيز المشاركة المجتمعية، وتغيير السلوكيات نحو التحوّل الإيجابي في المجتمع، وهذه المرتكزات الاستراتيجية بحاجة إلى مبادرة خاصة من وزارة الإعلام تعكس الفكر والقيم والهوية السعودية للعالم.

أعجبني في حديث وزير الإعلام تعبيره عن فكرة عميقة وهي أن «جبال طويق بصخورها كانت عبر القرون شاهدة على مرور القوافل والأحداث، واليوم تتحوّل من خلفية صامتة للتاريخ إلى مسرح حيّ للمستقبل الجديد، فنحن في المملكة لا نبدأ من حيث انتهى الآخرون، بل من حيث يحلم الآخرون».

هذا النوع من الرسائل عميق جداً في تشكيل سردية الإعلام التنموي بين الأجيال، وفهم التفاصيل برؤية أكثر وضوحاً وقرباً للواقع، وانعكاساً لقيمنا وهويتنا وحضارتنا السعودية، والجميل توقيت ومكان الرسالة في لحظة تدشين مدينة القدية لتكون شاهدة على ما قيل، وحتماً ما سيقال مستقبلاً، حينما يصطف الماضي والحاضر لرؤية المستقبل.

بعد 30 مؤتمراً صحفياً حكومياً ارتبطت فيها بالمؤسسات وقياداتها؛ حان الوقت لربط المؤتمرات المقبلة بالمنجزات الوطنية، والوقوف عليها في جميع المناطق، واستنساخ فكرة «مؤتمر القدية» ضمن أجندات الإعلام التنموي للمملكة، واستدامته في بقية المنجزات الأخرى التي ستشكّل إرثاً معرفياً وتنموياً في تعزيز رؤيتنا الطموحة.

منجزات كثيرة في وطننا الغالي تستحق الوقوف عليها، وإبرازها، وتعميق أثرها التنموي، وسيشهد العام 2026 افتتاح مشروعات جديدة تمثّل نقلة نوعية في مسيرتنا نحو المستقبل، وهو ما يجعلنا متفائلين برؤية وزير الإعلام والفريق المميّز الذي يعمل معه في تحقيق إعلام تنموي يعكس الواقع، ويجعل العالم يشاهدون السعودية الجديدة وهي قادمة من المستقبل.

The message carried by Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari from holding the government press conference in Al-Qiddiya, coinciding with the opening of its first assets next Wednesday, is to affirm the role of developmental media in maximizing the impact achieved from Saudi Vision 2030, conveying the true image of the world from the heart of the event, and celebrating the achievements that continue in the mission of national and community advancement towards the future.

Developmental media deserves to be a qualitative initiative adopted by the Ministry of Media with its goals, objectives, and projects, especially since the next five years will witness the opening of major projects leading up to Expo 2030. This journey requires a deep strategic vision in delivering the developmental media message to the world, building and developing media partnerships that reflect the unprecedented development achieved, highlighting successes that have exceeded their targets, and most importantly, their economic, social, and cultural impact on society.

Developmental media is not merely covering an event, occasion, or activity; it is much deeper than that in achieving comprehensive and sustainable development goals, creating awareness for the future, stimulating community participation, and changing behaviors towards positive transformation in society. These strategic pillars need a special initiative from the Ministry of Media that reflects the thought, values, and Saudi identity to the world.

I was impressed by the Minister of Media's expression of a profound idea that "the Tuwaiq Mountains, with their rocks, have witnessed the passage of caravans and events over the centuries, and today they are transforming from a silent backdrop of history to a vibrant stage for the new future. In the Kingdom, we do not start from where others ended, but from where others dream."

This type of message is very deep in shaping the narrative of developmental media among generations, understanding the details with a clearer and closer vision to reality, and reflecting our values, identity, and Saudi civilization. The timing and place of the message are beautiful, marking the moment of launching Al-Qiddiya to witness what has been said, and certainly what will be said in the future, when the past and present align to envision the future.

After 30 government press conferences linked to institutions and their leaders, it is time to connect the upcoming conferences with national achievements, showcasing them in all regions, and replicating the idea of the "Al-Qiddiya Conference" within the agendas of developmental media for the Kingdom, ensuring its sustainability in other achievements that will form a knowledge and developmental legacy in enhancing our ambitious vision.

Many achievements in our beloved homeland deserve to be highlighted, showcased, and deepened in their developmental impact. The year 2026 will witness the opening of new projects representing a qualitative leap in our journey towards the future, which makes us optimistic about the vision of the Minister of Media and the distinguished team working with him to achieve developmental media that reflects reality and allows the world to see the new Saudi Arabia coming from the future.
