قررت اللجنة المنظمة لبطولة كأس أمم أفريقيا لكرة القدم في المغرب، بالتشاور مع الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم (كاف)، السماح بدخول الجماهير إلى الملاعب مجانًا بعد مرور 20 دقيقة من انطلاق المباريات.
وجاء هذا القرار بهدف تعزيز معدلات حضور الجماهير، التي شهدت انخفاضًا في بداية مباريات الجولة الأولى من دور المجموعات. فقد كانت مدرجات ملعب «أدرار» في مدينة أغادير شبه خالية خلال مباراة الكاميرون والغابون، رغم قدرة الملعب على استيعاب 45 ألف متفرج، وذلك خلال عمليات الإحماء، وفقًا لما أوردته وكالة الأنباء الفرنسية (فرانس برس)، ووكالة الأنباء الألمانية.
وشهدت مباراة مصر وزيمبابوي نمطًا مشابهًا، حيث كان الحضور محدودًا عند عزف النشيد الوطني، قبل أن يرتفع العدد تدريجيًا إلى 28,200 متفرج قبل نهاية المباراة، ما شكل تحديًا في إدارة دخول الجماهير في بعض المناطق.
واستفادت مباريات أخرى في البطولة، مثل مواجهتي الكونغو الديموقراطية وبنين، وتونس وأوغندا، من هذه السياسة، التي أُطلقت على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي باسم «كأس أمم أفريقيا للشعب».
ويأتي هذا الإجراء في إطار جهود المغرب لضمان نجاح البطولة، وتحقيق طموح منتخب البلاد في الفوز باللقب للمرة الأولى منذ عام 1976، إضافة إلى استعداداته لمنافسات كأس العالم 2030.
The organizing committee for the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament in Morocco, in consultation with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has decided to allow fans to enter the stadiums for free after 20 minutes from the start of the matches.
This decision was made to enhance attendance rates, which saw a decline at the beginning of the first round of group matches. The stands of the "Adrar" stadium in Agadir were nearly empty during the match between Cameroon and Gabon, despite the stadium's capacity of 45,000 spectators, during the warm-up, according to reports from Agence France-Presse (AFP) and the German news agency.
The match between Egypt and Zimbabwe witnessed a similar pattern, with attendance being limited during the national anthem, before gradually increasing to 28,200 spectators before the end of the match, which posed a challenge in managing the entry of fans in some areas.
Other matches in the tournament, such as the encounters between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Benin, and Tunisia and Uganda, benefited from this policy, which was dubbed on social media as the "Africa Cup of Nations for the People."
This measure comes as part of Morocco's efforts to ensure the success of the tournament and to achieve the national team's ambition of winning the title for the first time since 1976, in addition to its preparations for the 2030 World Cup competitions.
