أعلن مصدر عسكري سوداني أن الطائرات المسيرة لقوات الجيش نفذت غارات مركزة تمكنت من تدمير أسلحة وعتاد حربي في منطقة كيقا تميرو القريبة من مدينة الدلنج بولاية جنوب كردفان.
وأكد المصدر استهداف المسيرات مقاتلين يتبعون قوات الحركة الشعبية شمال جناح عبدالعزيز الحلو في إحدى المناطق الجبلية الوعرة القريبة من الدلنج.
ويأتي استهداف الجيش لهذه المواقع للحد من تحركات الدعم السريع والحركة الشعبية بعد فرضهما حصاراً مزدوجاً على مدينتي كادوقلي والدلنج منذ عامين.
وكانت قوات الدعم السريع هاجمت منطقتي الدنكوج وأم سوط شمالي مدينة الأبيض عاصمة ولاية شمال كردفان.
وتواصل قوات الدعم السريع في المناطق الغربية لولاية شمال كردفان في محور (الخِويّ - النهود) الدفع بمزيد من الدعم اللوجستي وناقلات الوقود لقواتها المتحركة في الأجزاء الشرقية من ولاية غرب كردفان.
من جانبه، أفاد قائد عسكري بالقوات المشتركة في إقليم دارفور بأن القوات المشتركة مدعومة بكتائب المقاومة الشعبية تعمل على التصدي لقوات الدعم السريع التي توغلت أخيراً في الأجزاء الشمالية والغربية من ولاية شمال دارفور.
وكان مسؤول في حركة جيش تحرير السودان، برئاسة مني أركو مناوي، أكد نزوح مئات الأسر من مناطق أبو قَمْرة وكرنوي وأمبرو وفوراوية إلى الشريط الحدودي مع دولة تشاد في أعقاب الهجمات التي شنتها قوات الدعم السريع على تلك المناطق. وتوقع استمرار حالات النزوح بالتزامن مع تمدد الدعم السريع في الأجزاء الشمالية والغربية من إقليم دارفور.
A Sudanese military source announced that the army's drones carried out concentrated raids that succeeded in destroying weapons and military equipment in the Kiga Tamiro area near the city of Dalang in South Kordofan state.
The source confirmed that the drones targeted fighters belonging to the Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North faction led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu in one of the rugged mountainous areas near Dalang.
This targeting by the army aims to limit the movements of the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement after they imposed a dual blockade on the cities of Kadugli and Dalang for the past two years.
The Rapid Support Forces had attacked the areas of Dankoj and Um Sout north of the city of Al-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan state.
The Rapid Support Forces continue in the western areas of North Kordofan state along the (Al-Khoy - Al-Nuhud) axis to push more logistical support and fuel transports to their moving forces in the eastern parts of West Kordofan state.
For his part, a military commander in the joint forces in the Darfur region reported that the joint forces, supported by popular resistance battalions, are working to confront the Rapid Support Forces that have recently advanced into the northern and western parts of North Darfur state.
A spokesperson for the Sudan Liberation Army, led by Mini Arko Minawi, confirmed the displacement of hundreds of families from the areas of Abu Qamra, Kernoy, Ambro, and Forawiya to the border strip with Chad following the attacks launched by the Rapid Support Forces on those areas. He anticipated the continuation of displacement cases coinciding with the expansion of the Rapid Support Forces in the northern and western parts of the Darfur region.
